Factory Festival this year...

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Factory Festival won't be bringing down any mainland or international bands to Tasmania for our usual summer gig.
Because one of Australia's biggest Christian music festivals "Sonfest" will no longer be operating, our capacity to bring bands down (as they travelled through to New Zeland) has been greatly restricted.
This will be the first time in 9 years we have not been able to put on this great event.
We look forward to seeing what the future holds for us... so stay tuned! |

The new music video from American rockers Switchfoot tittled "Oh! Gravity" can now be seen on Yahoo! Music for the first time. This is the title track from their new album which should be out around Christmas time.
Here's a little fact: Producer Tim Palmer who produced Switchfoot's latest record also produced U2 and Pearl Jam.
New albums can also be expected from Stacie Orrico on 16th January titled "Beautiful Awakening"; Relient K are expected to have theirs out in March titled "Five Score and Seven Years Ago" and rapper tobyMac will release his third album "Portable Sounds" in February.
Remember The Lads? They are currently touring Australia (check website for details). Rumour has it that they'll be taking a slightly different direction as a band, and it might involve comic books featuring our NZ friends as superheroes...! |

AGMF (Australian Gospel Music Festival) have just announced their headline artists for Easter 2007 including Blindside (about time they came to Australia!!), James Morrison, Day of Fire, Jimmy Needham, Superchic[k] and the Planet Shakers Band.
Launceston band GRRR will also take part in next year's line-up along with many other bands from all across Australia. Way to go boys! |
